Support and privacy policy for Flex – Workout Tracker
Flex is a workout tracker for iPhone and iPad: log sets fast with a custom number pad, load the bar with the plate calculator, save routines as templates, and watch your history, personal records and weekly goals. Your data syncs privately through your own iCloud account.
Flex is designed and built by two fitness freaks, Ashton Krstolic and Kevin Brown, who wanted a tracker that gets out of the way between sets. Every feature in Flex exists because we needed it at the rack.
Where is my data stored? On your device and in the private CloudKit database of your iCloud account. Nobody else, including the developer, can read it.
Why don’t my workouts show on my other device? Both devices must be signed into the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive enabled for Flex (Settings ▸ your name ▸ iCloud ▸ Apps Using iCloud). Open Settings inside Flex to see the sync status.
I deleted an exercise by mistake. Exercises are only hidden. Open the Exercises tab, tap the ⋯ menu, then Show Deleted to restore it.
Can I edit a finished workout? Yes. In History, tap the ⋯ menu on the workout and choose Edit Workout. Cancel discards every change; Save keeps them.
How are personal records counted? A PR is awarded for an exercise when the heaviest set in a workout beats the heaviest set of that exercise in every earlier workout.
